Billing
The Scheme now operate a bi-annual billing system.
Your service meter is read each year in January and July. Invoices are issued in January and July.
Usage is calculated by deducting previous reading from current reading.
If you have more than one meter installed the same procedure as above applies for all meters.
If you qualify for a domestic allowance, then 1/2 of the current domestic allowance is applied to each invoice. (Current domestic allowance is 160 cubic meters per year).
The balance of your usage is then multiplied by the current water rate of €1.30 per cubic meter.
If you have more than one connection to the scheme there is a flat rate charge of €7.50 for the second and each subsequent connection, per invoice.
If there is a balance outstanding on your account it is brought forward to the current invoice..
