Dysart - Toonagh Group Water Scheme Co-operative Society Limited was formed in 1976.With Ballycullinan Lake Corofin as the source, the Scheme supplies water to approximately 450 Shareholders in the townlands of Liscullane, Rath, Dysart, Toonagh, Fountain, Ballygriffey and Larchill.

The Treatment Plant at Soheen Dysart was commisioned in 2006 and was upgraded in 2011. The system now in place is a Dissolved Air Flotation system (DAF). It is part of the Clare DBO (design, build and operate) Bundle. E.P.S. Mallow operates and maintains the Plant on a 20 year contract.

Dysart-Toonagh Group Water Scheme is a member of the National Federation of Group Water Schemes.
